I have been creating art my entire life. With time, courage, and a willingness to fail I am finally in a place where I can show my work. I have come to accept that my body of work will be "a work in progress" for the rest of my life. Each week, month, and year brings with it change and growth.
I believe no work is wasted time, for each pencil line is part of a path to greater things. Discipline, practice and courage are traits I am learning. I feel that these qualities hold the keys to my personal success.
I believe every person has the abillity to express themselves with the arts. Art in all of its forms opens our minds. When we allow ourselves to be creative beings there is nothing we cannot do. Children require a safe and nurturing environment in order to explore their creative nature. There is no such thing as failure in art, for every time we pick up a pencil we are giving our creativity a chance to speak and grow. It is my passion in life to help others find the courage and the tools to open up and discover their personal creativity.
